Masterbedroom:
Brick accent wall was added for warmth and texture.
Low voltage can lights were added to tray ceiling for reading with bedside switches for convenience.
Wall sconce lighting was added for mood and artwork accent.

Living Room:
Original room felt tall and narrow as if "Sitting at the bottom of a milk carton."
The lower windows at right wall were added for more light and to open up lower half of room.
The original cultured stone at the fireplace surround and raised hearth were removed.
Adding a wood mantle with granite surround and matching flush to floor hearth created interest to lower half of room also opening up a bit more floor space by eliminating the raised hearth obstruction.

A wall hung TV and upholstered bench replaces a bulky, built cabinetry adding more seating for entertaining and softening the impact of the TV in the room. AV equipment resides in the burlap paneled cabinetry fronts below the bench.
